Geely-owned electric vehicle maker Zeekr marked the production of its 300,000th Zeekr 001 on Sunday, underlining the brand’s sustained presence in the premium shooting brake segment since its debut in 2021.
The 001, Zeekr’s first model, is now offered alongside the sport-oriented 001 FR and the recently introduced 007 GT. Together, these three shooting brake variants contribute to the company’s market share in the body style, with nearly 100,000 of the approximately 150,000 global shooting brake EVs sold in 2024 attributed to the 001 series.
Sales of the 001 series have slowed in recent months, with just 2,437 units delivered in June and 18,124 units sold in the first half of 2025. Annual deliveries of the model peaked at 76,000 units in 2023 after reaching 72,000 in 2022.
The Zeekr 001 offers a range of powertrains and battery capacities. Rear-wheel drive variants deliver 310 kW (416 hp), while all-wheel drive versions produce up to 580 kW (778 hp). The flagship 001 FR boosts performance further, reaching 930 kW (1,247 hp) and achieving 0–100 km/h in just 2.37 seconds. All variants are built on an 800V platform and offer battery packs of 95 kWh or 100 kWh.
Meanwhile, the 007 GT, introduced in April and positioned below the 001, is gaining traction with 10,000 units produced by mid-May. It is available in both rear- and all-wheel drive configurations, with a maximum cruising range of up to 825 km (CLTC). Like the 001 series, the 007 GT features fast-charging capabilities on an 800V architecture.
