Zeekr, the electric vehicle brand under China’s Geely Group, has started mass production of its Zeekr 007 GT electric estate at its Hangzhou-based factory, days ahead of the official launch scheduled for April 15.
The model is set to be sold in Europe under the name Zeekr 7 GT, reflecting the company’s expanding global ambitions.

Manufacturing of the new model is taking place at the Zeekr Intelligent Factory, which began operations in 2021. The facility has been recognized for its innovation, including a Muse Design Award for its showroom in 2025.
The plant utilizes a high level of automation, incorporating artificial intelligence and 5G connectivity into the production process, allowing for improvements in both efficiency and quality. The use of large Visual Language Models and robot clusters has helped reduce labor costs and defect rates significantly.

The Zeekr 007 GT is the sixth model to enter series production at the Hangzhou plant, joining the 001 estate, the 009 minivan, the X crossover, the Mix minivan, and the 7X SUV. Built on Geely’s SEA-based PMA2+ modular platform, the new estate offers both rear-wheel and all-wheel drive options, with system outputs reaching up to 475 kW (637 hp).
Two battery variants are available: a 75 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) pack developed in partnership with CATL, and a 100 kWh ternary NMC battery, supporting a range between 585 km and 825 km under China’s CLTC standard. The model also includes features such as a LiDAR-based driving assistance system, air suspension, and an optional tow hook.

The design of the Zeekr 007 GT incorporates the brand’s Hidden Energy styling language and includes the distinctive Stargate interactive front display.
