XPeng showcased its latest addition to the electric vehicle market, the X9 MPV. The vehicle, built on the SEPA 2.0 platform, is set to redefine family travel with its luxurious features and innovative design.
Measuring at 5,293 mm in length, 1,988 mm in width, and 1,785 mm in height, the X9 offers ample space for families and weekend getaways. The 3,160 mm wheelbase emphasizes the interior’s spaciousness, providing flexibility in seating arrangements for six to seven passengers across three rows.
The interior of the X9 boasts starship ambient lighting, a dual tabletop in the back row, a separate air conditioning control panel, a refrigerator, and a rear ceiling screen. The design, inspired by starships, introduces a futuristic aesthetic, albeit with some controversy.
Equipped with an 800V high-voltage SiC architecture, the X9 promises superior efficiency and faster charging, a first in XPeng’s lineup. The vehicle comes in two variants: a single-motor model with 235 kW of power and a dual-motor all-wheel-drive version with a combined 370 kW. The powertrains offer an impressive range of 610 km, 640 km, and 702 km CLTC, depending on the battery pack.
Noteworthy is the integration of LiDAR sensors into the front bumper, enhancing safety and autonomous driving capabilities. The X9 will also feature XPeng’s new XOS Tianji cabin software, providing advanced functionality.
