Xpeng delivered a record 50,237 vehicles in October, surpassing 50,000 units for the first time as strong overseas growth supported the Chinese automaker’s push to increase sales in the fourth quarter.
The company announced the figure on Sunday, exceeding its previous monthly record of 42,013 vehicles set in October last year. The latest result also marked a return to year-on-year growth following a slight decline in September.
During the first 10 months of 2026, Xpeng delivered 334,604 vehicles, down 5.80% year on year. This narrowed the cumulative decline from 9.20% recorded during the first nine months.
Overseas Deliveries Reach New Monthly Record
International markets provided a significant contribution to October’s performance. Xpeng reported overseas deliveries of 13,326 vehicles, a new monthly record and an increase of 166% compared with the same period last year.
Overseas deliveries also rose 32.53% from September and represented 26.53% of the company’s total monthly volume, up from 24.37% a month earlier.
Based on the reported figures, deliveries in China reached 36,911 vehicles in October, the highest monthly domestic total in a year.
For the first 10 months of 2026, Xpeng’s overseas deliveries amounted to 72,805 vehicles, accounting for approximately 21.76% of its total volume.
The results highlight the growing contribution of international markets as Xpeng expands its distribution network and introduces more models outside China.
Mona L05 Adds Momentum to Year-End Sales Push
Xpeng is also expanding its domestic product range to support further delivery growth.
The Mona L05 went on sale in China on October 29, with nationwide customer deliveries beginning on November 1. The five-seat SUV is the third model in the Mona lineup and is available in battery electric vehicle (BEV) and extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) versions.
Its limited-time starting price is 139,800 yuan ($20,820).
Xpeng said all 5,000 Mona L05 vehicles allocated for near-term delivery were sold within three minutes of the launch. Cumulative deliveries across the Mona lineup have exceeded 360,000 units since the series debuted two years ago.
The company began global shipments of the Mona L05 on October 26 and plans to introduce the model in 65 countries and regions, extending the lineup’s international presence.
Premium SUV Expansion Targets Middle East
Xpeng is also accelerating the overseas introduction of its premium vehicles.
In its latest statement, the company reiterated that its flagship GX SUV had secured nearly 4,000 orders in the Middle East, although local pricing had not yet been announced.
On October 27, Xpeng said it planned to launch the GX and G9L flagship SUVs in the region the following week, alongside the announcement of local prices.
As of October 27, the company’s international sales network covered 83 countries and regions, supported by more than 1,200 overseas stores.
60,000 Monthly Deliveries Remain the Next Target
Xpeng Chairman and Chief Executive He Xiaopeng said during an earnings call in August that the company aimed to exceed 60,000 monthly deliveries in the fourth quarter, supported by new models including the G9L and Mona L05.
Achieving that level would require monthly deliveries to increase by approximately 19.43% from October’s record of 50,237 vehicles.
The rollout of the Mona L05, continued expansion in overseas markets and the introduction of new flagship SUVs will therefore be important factors in determining whether Xpeng can reach its fourth-quarter delivery target.
