Xpeng has introduced the updated 2025 G6 electric SUV in Malaysia, marking the model’s entry into the Southeast Asian market following its domestic debut in China earlier this year. The launch coincides with the company’s first anniversary in Malaysia and underscores its broader strategy to expand globally.

The updated G6 comes equipped across all variants with a 5C fast-charging battery and an 800-volt silicon carbide platform, designed to deliver faster charging speeds, longer driving range, and improved efficiency and safety.

The model is offered in three variants for Malaysian customers: RWD Long-range Pro, AWD Performance, and AWD Black Edition, priced at RM178,888 ($42,340), RM189,888, and RM193,888 respectively.

Since its original launch in China in June 2023, the G6 has expanded to more than 40 markets worldwide, including countries in Southeast Asia such as Singapore and Thailand, as well as key European regions like Germany, France, and Spain, and markets such as Australia. The 2025 version, introduced in China in March 2025 with prices starting at RMB 176,800 ($24,820), brings refinements aimed at enhancing global appeal.
