Xpeng launched the facelifted version of its G6 electric SUV in Thailand on August 21, marking the one-year anniversary of the brand’s presence in the country, the Chinese electric vehicle maker said in a statement.

The updated G6 comes equipped with 5C ultra-fast charging capability on an 800-volt platform and introduces the AI-powered Tianji XOS system. Two variants are available in Thailand: the Long Range model starting at 1.349 million baht ($41,310) and the AWD Performance version starting at 1.489 million baht. Both carry an 80.8-kWh lithium iron phosphate battery, which can charge from 10 percent to 80 percent in 12 minutes.

The Long Range model offers a driving range of 600 km under NEDC standards, powered by a rear-mounted 218 kW motor that accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.7 seconds. The AWD Performance version adds a front motor for a combined 358 kW output, cutting acceleration to 4.13 seconds with a range of 575 km.

The G6 was originally launched in China in June 2023 and has since become a key model for Xpeng’s global sales growth. The right-hand drive version was introduced in Thailand in August 2024, while an updated version was rolled out in China earlier this year starting at RMB 176,800 ($24,620). The model is now available in more than 30 markets including Norway, the Netherlands, Sweden, Germany, France, Singapore and Australia.
