Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer Xpeng has further expanded into the Middle East, launching its G6 and G9 SUV models in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The launch, carried out in partnership with Ali & Sons Holding LLC, marks Xpeng’s official entry into the UAE market and is part of the company’s broader Middle East growth strategy.

Xpeng has already set up a sales channel in the UAE and plans to open a new store in Abu Dhabi next year, in addition to its existing location in Dubai. “Xpeng will leverage Ali & Sons’ operational experience and local strengths to quickly integrate into the UAE market,” the company said in a statement, highlighting its aim to build competitiveness through its smart product offerings.

Ali & Sons, which represents major automotive brands like Volkswagen, Audi, and Porsche in the UAE, will work with Xpeng to establish a comprehensive distribution network. The companies plan to expand the product lineup by introducing the X9 multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) in the future. “After the introduction of the G6 and G9, we will also introduce the X9 MPV to further enhance the product lineup,” said Mohammad Al Dhaheri, Managing Director of Ali & Sons Automotive.

Xpeng has been accelerating its international expansion, recently entering several markets in the Middle East, including Israel, Egypt, Azerbaijan, Jordan, and Lebanon. The company also announced plans to further its presence in regions such as Europe, ASEAN, Latin America, and Oceania as part of its ongoing global strategy.
