Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer Xpeng (NYSE: XPEV) set a new monthly delivery record in November, reaching 30,895 units, driven by strong sales of its recently launched P7+ sedan and Mona M03 model.
The latest figures represent a 54.16% increase from 20,041 deliveries in the same month last year and a 29.18% rise from October’s 23,917 units. It marks the first time Xpeng has surpassed the 30,000 mark and the third consecutive month of record-breaking deliveries.
“The Mona M03 continued to deliver more than 10,000 units in November, while the P7+ accumulated over 7,000 deliveries just 23 days after its launch,” the company stated.
Year-to-date deliveries from January through November reached 153,373 units, a 26.25% increase compared to the same period in 2023.
The Mona M03, launched on August 27, has quickly become a bestseller for Xpeng, with starting prices from RMB 119,800 ($16,540). By November 28, cumulative deliveries of the model exceeded 30,000 units. Meanwhile, the P7+, which debuted on November 7, achieved 10,000 units produced within 20 days of launch and sold out its limited-edition variant of 500 units.
Despite robust demand, Xpeng customers face delivery wait times of 8 to 12 weeks for the Mona M03 and 8 to 11 weeks for the P7+, reflecting production constraints. The Mona M03 is manufactured at Xpeng’s Zhaoqing plant, while the P7+ is produced in Guangzhou.
As the company ramps up production capacity, Xpeng continues to strengthen its position in China’s competitive electric vehicle market with its innovative and affordable model lineup.
