Xos announced a further expansion of its infrastructure offering to support EV riders by offering DC fast chargers.

This charger compatible with passenger and commercial electric vehicles will have five charger models offering different kilowatt-hour charges and are available as standalone, wall-mounted and portable, offering 30kW to 300kW.

The five chargers include: a 30kW portable EV charger, a 30kW wall-mounted EV charger, a 60kW EV charger, a 150kW EV charger, and a 300kW EV charger.

For fleet owners and operators, chargers can be monitored via the Xosphere fleet management platform, which allows you to remotely monitor and control charge profiles and schedules to optimize total cost of ownership.

“The availability, portability and convenience of the Xos DC Fast Charger make it the perfect solution to meet the needs of any electric fleet,” said Kyle Garvin, Director of Sales for Xos Energy Solutions in a press release.

“We are committed to providing our fleet customers with the best filling solutions and fleet management tools so they can keep uptime high and continue to see greater savings in total cost of ownership,” he added.

In addition, Xos has also secured a purchase order from Morgan Services, Inc., a Chicago-based linen and uniform rental service provider, for nine Xos DC Fast Chargers.

The Xos DC Fast Charger will be offered as part of Xos Energy Solutions alongside Xos Hub and Xos Serve mobile charging stations, an on-demand infrastructure platform that includes site evaluation, energy storage development and installation, and energy consulting services.
