Last year Xiaomi announced their new subsidiary for electric vehicles. The company is named Xiaomi EV, and Xiaomi has invested 10 billion Yuan.

And reportedly this year Xiaomi is ready to showcase their first electric car product. This prototype product will be available in the third quarter of 2022.

The target is that Xiaomi will launch four electric car models in the future. There will be two models each from two different classes.

Two mid-range models, which will be present will use the L2+ autonomous driving system. It will be sold in the price range of 150-200 Yuan.

As for the other two models, namely in the upper class, with the L3 autonomous driving system. It will be sold in the 200-300 thousand Yuan price range.

The commercial version of Xiaomi’s electric vehicle is expected to launch in 2024.

So, Xiaomi will truly be present in all technology ecosystems. Starting, from smartphones, accessories, home appliances, until now in electric vehicles.
