Xiaomi’s electric vehicle division delivered more than 20,000 vehicles in February, extending a month-on-month decline following record deliveries at the end of last year, the company said.
The Chinese manufacturer did not disclose an exact figure, noting that detailed data will be released later by the China Passenger Car Association. February deliveries were affected by the Lunar New Year holiday from Feb. 15 to Feb. 23, which disrupted production and logistics across the country.

The company delivered a record 50,212 vehicles in December 2025, followed by 39,002 units in January. The latest figure indicates a further sequential drop as the brand transitions between model generations.
Xiaomi said it is preparing for mass production of the next-generation SU7 electric sedan. “We are preparing for mass production of the next-generation SU7,” the EV unit said in a post on social media platform Weibo.

Founder and Chief Executive Lei Jun said most current deliveries are from the company’s electric SUV model, the YU7. Production of the first-generation SU7 sedan ended in early February, shifting the sales mix toward the SUV. According to industry data compiled by CnEVPost, the YU7 accounted for the vast majority of January deliveries.
The new-generation SU7 sedan, expected to launch in April, is set to include upgrades to driver-assistance systems and core hardware. Xiaomi also plans to introduce additional models during the year, including new sport utility vehicles.
