Wuling, the Chinese automotive brand owned by SAIC-GM-Wuling (SGMW), has unveiled regulatory details for its upcoming Bingo Pro electric hatchback, as the company prepares to broaden its compact EV range in China.
The Bingo Pro appeared in December filings released by China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), confirming key specifications for the new five-door battery-electric model.

Wuling is positioning the Bingo Pro between the smaller Wuling Bingo and the larger Bingo S, targeting buyers seeking a compact urban vehicle with added interior space.
“Wuling is set to launch the Bingo Pro in China in H1, 2026,” the filing stated, outlining the planned market timing for the new model.
The Bingo Pro features a rounded exterior design with large circular headlights, aerodynamic wheels, and a roof-mounted rear spoiler, while regulatory images also reveal a base version equipped with steel wheels.

According to the MIIT data, the Bingo Pro measures 4,050 mm in length, 1,758 mm in width, and 1,580 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,560 mm. The vehicle is powered by a single electric motor producing 65 kW, enabling a top speed of 130 km/h. It carries a curb weight of 1,270 kg and is equipped with lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries, a chemistry widely used in China for cost-focused electric vehicles.
The latest filing adds to Wuling’s expanding presence in China’s highly competitive small EV segment, where domestic brands continue to introduce new models aimed at price-sensitive urban consumers.
