Zeekr, the Chinese electric vehicle (EV) automaker under the Geely Holding umbrella, has confirmed the launch of its fifth EV model, the Zeekr MIX. This new van-like multi-purpose vehicle is designed with families who have a traveling lifestyle in mind, adding to China’s expanding array of all-electric family-size vehicles.

In recent years, Zeekr has rapidly developed and launched several successful EV models. The brand’s latest offering, the Zeekr MIX, joins a lineup that includes the recently debuted 007 model, which has become a bestseller for the automaker since deliveries began in January 2023. Zeekr has also expanded its presence in Europe, with plans to enter the Mexican market soon.

The Zeekr MIX marks a significant addition to the brand’s portfolio, offering a fresh take on all-electric family vehicles. While details about the MIX remain limited, Zeekr has described it as breaking the constraints of space and redefining travel for families. The company unveiled the new model on its Weibo page, showcasing its exterior design.

Zeekr has submitted regulatory filings for the MIX in China. The filing indicates that the MIX will be a five-seater model, measuring 4,688 mm in length, 1,995 mm in width, and 1,755 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,008 mm. The models submitted for the filing are all single-motor versions with a maximum power of 310 kW.

The Zeekr MIX will be powered by lithium-ion ternary batteries supplied through a joint venture between industry giant CATL and Geely, Zeekr’s parent company.

This new model is the first of three EVs that Zeekr plans to launch in 2024. The lineup will include a mid-size luxury SUV to rival the Tesla Model Y and a top-tier luxury MPV, joining the existing 009 model in Zeekr’s lineup.
