We know Huawei as a large telecommunications company from China. In addition to the telecommunications industry, Huawei has also entered the automotive industry. After launching his first car, the Huawei SF5. This time, Huawei launched an electric car type SUV and named Huawei Aito M5 with special specs.

As reported by Inputmag, Friday, December 31, 2021, Huawei calls the Aito M5 a smart car. Because, the car is equipped with software from Huawei itself, namely HarmonyOS.

With HarmonyOS, the Aito M5 can interact with drivers, mobile phones, smart homes and other smart devices.

“Huawei uses superior capabilities built over more than 30 years to empower the automotive industry. Our products will provide an unparalleled intelligent driving experience. It aims to bring the digital world to every vehicle,” said Richard Yu Chengdong, Executive Director and CEO of the Business Group. Huawei consumers.

The Huawei Aito M5 is said to be similar to the Porsche Macan, but the Huawei Aito M5 was designed by Huawei’s own team of designers. The Huawei Aito M5 will be showcased in 180 Huawei stores in 42 cities in China by 2022.

Huawei Aito M5 Specifications

Huawei Aito M5 orders have reached 6 thousand units, and comes in 2 variants. Namely, electric cars and plug-in hybrid cars, while the electric variant comes in two wheel drive offerings, namely front wheels and four wheels.

Aito M5 front-wheel drive with a single motor has a power of 204 horsepower. As for the type with two motors, it has 224 horsepower. The highest variant has two motors with four-wheel drive and has a power of 428 horsepower.

For the hybrid type, it has a conventional 1.5 liter turbo engine combined with a 40 kW battery. The conventional engine acts as a generator for the battery and its power reaches 125 horsepower. The Huawei Aito M5 hybrid type is claimed to have a mileage of 1,195 kilometers.
