WeRide has introduced the Robovan W5, an advanced Level 4 autonomous delivery vehicle designed to revolutionize logistics operations. Built for long-distance and high-volume deliveries, the Robovan W5 utilizes WeRide’s proprietary self-driving technology, allowing for 24/7 autonomous operations across all weather conditions. The vehicle is optimized for express shipping, urban distribution, and point-to-point logistics, offering a scalable and cost-effective solution for modern delivery needs.

The Robovan W5 boasts a 360-degree perception system that ensures enhanced safety by eliminating blind spots. It features a 5.5 cubic meter cargo space with a 1,000 kg payload capacity and a 220-kilometer range, making it well-suited for long-distance deliveries. The vehicle also benefits from AI-driven route optimization, which dynamically adjusts delivery paths to avoid congestion. Additionally, the Robovan W5’s modular cargo design accommodates a variety of business needs, while its multi-vehicle platooning capability allows a single operator to manage several units simultaneously.
