Voyah delivered 13,003 vehicles in May, representing a 30% increase from a year earlier and reinforcing its position among China’s leading premium new energy vehicle brands.
The premium electric vehicle marque, owned by Dongfeng Motor, reported cumulative deliveries of 62,041 units during the first five months of 2026, up 35% year-on-year and significantly outpacing overall industry growth.
Retail Expansion Continues
Voyah continued to expand its physical sales and service network during May, adding seven Voyah Space stores, three full-service user centers and one delivery center across 11 major cities.
By the end of May, the company’s offline network covered more than 100 cities across China, providing integrated vehicle experience, sales and after-sales service capabilities.
The expansion is part of Voyah’s broader strategy to strengthen customer engagement and support growing vehicle deliveries.
Charging Infrastructure Growth
The company is also investing heavily in charging infrastructure to support its expanding customer base.
Voyah said it has provided more than 660 million kilowatt-hours of charging services to date, contributing to an estimated reduction of 207,000 tonnes of carbon emissions.
Its self-operated charging network now consists of 130 charging stations across 31 cities.
The network is concentrated in key economic regions including the Yangtze River Delta, Pearl River Delta and Chengdu-Chongqing economic zones, where the company aims to establish a “five-kilometer urban charging circle” for vehicle owners.
Taishan X8 Strengthens Product Portfolio
In May, Voyah launched the Taishan X8 sport utility vehicle in China. The model incorporates multiple technologies supplied by Huawei and entered the market with a starting price of 292,900 yuan, approximately 10,000 yuan below its pre-sale pricing announced in April.
The Taishan X8 is available in five variants, including three plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) models and two battery-electric vehicle (BEV) versions.
PHEV variants are priced between 292,900 yuan and 359,900 yuan, while BEV versions range from 339,900 yuan to 379,900 yuan.
European Expansion Plans
Voyah is also expected to play a central role in a new European initiative announced by Stellantis and Dongfeng Motor Corporation.
The two automakers said in May they plan to expand their long-standing partnership through a new joint venture focused on the European market, with Voyah positioned as a key brand within the collaboration.
The move highlights Dongfeng’s ambitions to strengthen Voyah’s international presence as Chinese automakers increasingly target overseas markets for future growth.
With rising deliveries, an expanding retail and charging network, and growing international ambitions, Voyah is positioning itself as one of China’s fastest-growing premium new energy vehicle brands.
