Volkswagen has opened orders for the entry-level version of its all-electric ID. Polo, introducing the new ID. Polo Trend at a starting price of €24,995 across several European markets.
The new variant delivers on Volkswagen’s previously announced target of offering the electric compact from around €25,000, following the initial launch in April when the model range began with the higher-priced Life trim.

Entry-Level Model Joins ID. Polo Lineup
The ID. Polo Trend is now available for configuration in Germany and other European markets, including France and the Netherlands.
The entry-level model comes equipped with a range of standard features, including Side Assist, Lane Keep Assist with Emergency Assist, LED headlights with high-beam assist, a 10-inch digital cockpit, a 13-inch infotainment display, a multifunction leatherette steering wheel, and automatic climate control.
Volkswagen said the new variant is designed to provide an affordable entry point into its electric vehicle range while retaining many of the technologies offered on higher trim levels.
Smaller Battery Targets Urban Driving
The ID. Polo Trend is powered by an 85 kW electric motor paired with a 37 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery.

The configuration provides a WLTP driving range of up to 323 kilometers, positioning the vehicle primarily for urban and suburban use.
For longer journeys, the vehicle supports DC fast charging at up to 88 kW, enabling the battery to charge from 10% to 80% in approximately 23 minutes.
Volkswagen recently introduced the 37 kWh battery as an option for the Life and Style trims, which can also be equipped with a larger 52 kWh nickel manganese cobalt (NMC) battery for extended driving range.
At present, the larger battery option is not available for the lower-priced Trend variant.
