The world’s automotive manufacturers are racing in electrified conversion. In addition to introducing new electric vehicle products, several automotive manufacturers are preparing infrastructure to support the production of their electric vehicles.
One of the manufacturers that is aggressively expanding is Vinfa planning to build a new battery factory in the United States.

VinFast will use the construction of the factory to build cells and battery packs to supply VinFast’s electric vehicles.
According to information from Reuters, the construction of a battery factory in 2024 is also seen as a step by VinFast to expand the electric car market in the United States.
“We will be building our gigafactory in the United States,” said Le Thi Thu Thuy, Vingroup Vice Chairman and CEO of Vinfast Global, in a statement.

As a first step, at the beginning of the production they will still receive supplies from their suppliers.
However, in the future they will start to produce everything independently.
