Indian electric vehicle startup Vayve Mobility has introduced the Eva, a compact urban electric car featuring an optional solar roof, at Auto Expo 2025. The vehicle is available in three variants—Nova, Stella, and Vega—with ex-showroom prices starting at ₹3.25 lakh, ₹3.99 lakh, and ₹4.49 lakh, respectively.
Designed for city commuting, the Eva measures 2,950 mm in length, 1,200 mm in width, and 1,590 mm in height. It accommodates a centrally positioned driver and two rear passengers. The vehicle offers a driving range of up to 250 km per charge, depending on the selected battery pack. An optional roof-mounted solar panel can provide up to 10 km of additional range per day, potentially adding up to 3,000 km annually without external charging.

The Vega model also supports DC fast charging, allowing a 10% to 70% charge in about 20 minutes.
Vayve Mobility has introduced a Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model to lower upfront costs. Under this subscription plan, the Nova, Stella, and Vega variants are priced at ₹3.25 lakh, ₹3.99 lakh, and ₹4.49 lakh, respectively. Monthly battery subscription fees range from ₹1,200 for 600 km, ₹1,600 for 800 km, and ₹2,400 for 1,200 km of driving range.
