Up Close With Honda E:NS1 And E:NP1 Technology

Dongfeng Honda Automobile Co.,Ltd., as a joint venture company that manufactures and sells Honda cars in China, will start selling the All New Honda e:NS1 model in April 2022.

The All New e:NS1 and e:NP1 are “e:N Series” models developed as the first Honda brand EV models in China, combining Honda Monozukuri’s DNA which includes the pursuit of originality and passion, with cutting-edge electrification and cutting-edge technology.

In pursuit of driving performance, Honda has recently developed the e:N Architecture F which consists of an electric motor that provides instantaneous output and smooth control in various driving situations, a large capacity battery that allows a range of 510 km and a special body frame.

As standard equipment, the All-new e:NS1 and e:NP1 will feature the latest connectivity technologies available in China including Honda Connect 3.0, a next-generation connected technology developed exclusively for EVs and a 15.1-inch audio display.

In addition, the All-new e:NS1 and e:NP1 are designed to offer a safe, comfortable and intelligent space for mobility by providing various intelligence technologies, including the Driver Monitoring Camera (DMC), which helps driving safely to detect potential dangerous behavior such as driving. negligence and an indication of drowsiness experienced by the driver.

As for the exterior design, the new identity of the e:N Series is indicated by a glowing ā€œHā€ badge on the front and a new ā€œHondaā€ badge on the back that replaces the traditional ā€œHā€ branding.

Starting with the e:NS1 and e:NP1, Honda will introduce 10 e:N Series models by 2027 and accelerate electrification in China, including the sales chain and production operations.
