British charge point operator Zest has partnered with Octopus Electroverse, making its charging network accessible via the Electroverse app, the companies said on Tuesday.

The partnership will allow public and fleet drivers to start, stop and pay for charging sessions across Zest sites through the app, which provides access to more than one million chargers globally. According to Octopus Electroverse, about 500 new chargers are added daily.

“Joining forces with Octopus Electroverse helps unlock even more convenience for EV drivers. Whether you’re driving for work or heading out for the weekend, you can now charge at any Zest site with a tap in the Electroverse app,” said Robin Heap, CEO of Zest. “Zest offers a reliable service at great prices, but we never forget that drivers have a choice. This partnership makes the Zest experience even better for Electroverse users.”

Zest, which says it is one of the fastest-growing charge point operators in the UK, runs on-street and destination chargers to support everyday charging needs. Earlier this year, it signed a 15-year agreement with Newport City Council to install 144 chargers at 77 locations and recently opened a new high-power charging site in Leicester with ten fast chargers.
