Toyota has announced plans to reveal a new battery electric vehicle (BEV) on March 11, releasing a teaser image and video that hint at a “sleek and stylish” design with a spacious interior.

The automaker has not disclosed specific details, but the upcoming model is expected to be based on the bZ Compact Crossover concept, which was first unveiled in 2022.

Toyota described the new BEV as having “elevated driving dynamics” and a “versatile” cabin, though further specifications remain undisclosed.

The teaser video highlights features such as a rear light bar and a “hammerhead front face” reminiscent of the Toyota Camry hybrid. Industry speculation suggests the vehicle could offer multiple battery options and share interior elements with the Urban Cruiser, including a 10.25-inch driver display.

Toyota’s latest BEV is set to debut in Europe, joining the bZ4X and Urban Cruiser electric SUVs. While the official unveiling is scheduled for March 11 at 23:01 GMT, details on pricing and availability have yet to be confirmed.
