German electric motorcycle manufacturer Tinbot initially produced a number of electric scooter models, followed by two enduro and motard-type motorcycles built on the same platform.
But recently, Tinbot introduced the TB-RS1, an electric motorcycle equivalent to 125 cc with a modern naked sportbike style.
The RS1 adopts the contemporary aesthetic of a sporty large naked motorcycle with a rounded mock fuel tank and wide front silhouette.
With a sharp LED headlamp design, making the TB-RS1 somewhat similar to the BMW S 1000 R when viewed from the front. The proportions are comparable to that of a large cubical sportbike, with a seat distance of 850 millimeters from the ground and a wheelbase of 1,550 millimeters.
On the performance side, the Tinbot TB-RS1 is equipped with an electric motor that produces 47.6 hp and 63 ft-lbs of torque. With this electric motor, the RS1 has a top speed of up to 75 miles per hour. This electric motor gets power from a lithium-ion battery that can be recharged for 6 hours from empty to full.
With this lithium-ion battery, the TB-RS1 is claimed to have a range of about 62 miles in Performance mode and 125 miles in Eco mode. The mileage figure of this motorbike is quite extraordinary, considering that this electric motorbike has a weight of 183 kilograms.
Technologically speaking, the Tinbot RS1 comes with a Type 2 connector, a full-color TFT display and a full set of LED lights as standard equipment. In terms of braking, the TB-RS1 is equipped with dual disc brakes at the front and single disc brakes at the rear. Meanwhile, the TB-RS1 also gets an upside-down front suspension and an adjustable rear monoshock.
The Tinbot TB-RS1 is offered in four basic colors: black, blue, gray and red and is priced at EUR 10,990. Currently, the RS1 is exclusively offered in only a few countries, such as Germany, Austria and Italy.
