The latest concept battery electric car, the Toyota bZ Compact SUV Concept, will make its world premiere at the 2022 Los Angeles Auto Show at the LA Convention Center, USA.
The Toyota bZ electric SUV concept car has landed in the US on Wednesday, November 16, 2022.
“We have just started to write the history of Beyond Zero,” said Toyota Group Vice President and General Manager David Christ, on Toyota’s official website, quoted today, Thursday, November 17, 2022.
Toyota bZ is the basic concept of a battery electric car from the Japanese automotive manufacturer.
The Toyota bZ concept electric SUV features an aerodynamic design coupled with intuitive technological features never before seen on any other Toyota model.
The Toyota bZ Compact SUV Concept is designed as a battery-based electric car with a clean-vital design approach. This approach aims to reveal the features of battery electric cars while offering driving pleasure.
The interior materials of this zero-emission car are environmentally conscious with dynamic engine performance, advanced technology and stylish car appearance. The concept car’s aerodynamic shape enhances its futuristic look by pushing the wheels into corners to give it an aggressive and dynamic stance.
The Toyota bZ concept electric SUV’s short overhangs and sweepback angle stand out as technologically advanced vehicles. The narrow cab design provides an agile appearance with a low drag coefficient.
The concept car’s interior design team included some eco-friendly touches, such as seats made from plant-based and recycled materials to follow the Beyond Zero theme. A personal agent in the car named āYuiā connects the driver and passengers with this battery electric car.
With the use of audio and visual lighting cues that move around the cabin, it responds to requests or commands from front or rear passengers.
Globally, Toyota plans to expand production to around 30 dedicated BEV models, including five carrying the bZ brand moniker. This diversified electrification product portfolio is expected to help Toyota push toward achieving its goal of carbon neutrality by 2050.
