Toyota has launched a public sale of its newest portable and compact electric vehicle. Judging from its very simple form, it is intended for traveling within the city. The Toyota C+Pod is already available for consumers in Japan.
The electric car was first introduced in Japan last December for corporate and municipal customers, but will now also be available to individual buyers in the country. Toyota said the C+Pod will be offered through lease-purchase contracts across Japan.
