For some, the presence of Ram’s electric pickup truck is considered a bit late, considering that other competitors have even delivered their electric pickup trucks to consumers. Competition is not only with Ford and GM, which are Ram’s traditional competitors in the pickup truck segment, but also with newer brands such as Tesla and Rivian.
The Ram Revolution Concept will make its production debut the following year. The electric pickup truck will use the new STLA Frame platform, which has been specifically designed for full-size trucks and SUVs.
Dimensionally, the Ram Revolution Concept measures 220.5 – 244.1 inches (5,600 – 6,200 mm) in length and packs a 159-200+ kWh battery that gives a range of up to 500 miles (800 km).
The electric pickup truck will come with 400V and 800V technology as well as an electric motor with outputs ranging from 201 hp (150 kW / 204 PS) to 443 hp (330 kW / 449 PS). All-wheel drive variants are given and this means they can have a combined output of up to 885 hp (660 kW / 897 PS).
