Tesla announced a new milestone, the installation of 40,000 Supercharger stalls on Tuesday (22/11/2022). The new milestone was reached just five months after in June, Tesla celebrated the installation of its 35,000th Supercharger stall.
This means that an average of around 1,000 Supercharger stalls are installed every month during this time. Previously, the achievement of installing 30,000 Supercharger stalls was reached in November 2021. It took Tesla seven months to add another 5,000.

This suggests that Tesla is now using the new Supercharger much faster than before. The first supercharger was installed in September 2012, and in 10 years the manufacturer has been able to achieve very good results. Tesla did not specify where the 40,000 supercharger kiosks would be installed.
Currently, Tesla Ssuperchargers are actively installed all over the world and China is one of the most dynamically developing regions in the world. Currently, about 25% of all existing superchargers are installed in China.
By promoting electric vehicles, Tesla has gone to great lengths to create an industry from the ground up. Everything from electric vehicles and charging stations to solar panels and batteries is being built, distributed and continuously upgraded to accelerate the world’s transition to renewable energy.
40,000 Supercharger stalls worldwide are located at more than 3,500 stations. The US is the country with the largest number of charging stations, accounting for about 40% of all. China is in second place with about 25%.
