Ashdod, Israel, recently witnessed the arrival of a shipment of Tesla Model 3 Highland units aboard the Gold Kochav. The images captured at the port showcased hundreds of refreshed Model 3 vehicles, with white being the predominant color choice, indicating robust demand for the electric cars.

In August, Tesla opened orders for the Model 3 Highland in Israel, shortly after the model’s upgraded version made its debut in China. At that time, Tesla offered the Model 3 Highland RWD with a starting price of NIS 159,990 ($42,105.40), while the Long Range variants began at NIS 179,990 ($47,368.90), excluding additional options.

Customers in Israel had initially expected their Model 3 deliveries to fall within the October to November 2023 timeframe. However, as of the latest information, Tesla’s delivery estimate for the refreshed Model 3 in Israel has been extended to between January and February 2024. Notably, the prices for the Model 3 Highland RWD and Long Range versions remain unchanged.

Tesla enthusiasts and reservation holders around the world have been eagerly awaiting their Model 3 Highland deliveries. In a recent update, a Model 3 Highland reservation holder from Dubai revealed that their delivery appointment had been scheduled for October 26. Deliveries to Israel were anticipated to commence around the same period.

It’s important to note that Israel currently faces challenges related to the Israel-Hamas conflict, which may impact the logistics and timing of Tesla Model 3 Highland deliveries in the region.

To further incentivize electric vehicle adoption in Israel, Tesla introduced free Supercharging options in the country in mid-October. The Texas-based automaker has established 17 Supercharger locations across Israel, contributing to the growing charging infrastructure.

Tesla’s Model 3 Highland rollout continues to gain momentum globally, with initial deliveries taking place in Germany, followed by the introduction of Highland units in the Netherlands. Austria also joined the list of countries where Tesla commenced Model 3 deliveries earlier this month
