Tesla Inc has parted ways with its lead interior designer, Peter Blades, known for his work on the interiors of popular Tesla vehicles such as the Model 3 and Model Y.
Blades, who had been with Tesla for nearly a decade, played a significant role in shaping the interior design of several key Tesla models. He was the principal design lead for the Model 3’s interior and also contributed to the interior designs of the Tesla Semi and the next-generation Roadster.

Most recently, Blades led the interior design efforts for the Model Y before announcing his departure from Tesla.
Skyryse, a startup focused on developing next-generation helicopters, announced today that Blades had joined the company as Vice President of Design.
In a statement, Blades expressed his excitement about the opportunity at Skyryse, highlighting the chance to work on transformative technology and bring a fresh perspective to design.

Prior to his tenure at Tesla, Blades held positions at Nissan and General Motors, where he worked on designs for vehicles such as the Camaro, Impala, and C7 Corvette.
