Tesla has unveiled the Model Y Performance in Europe, featuring an updated high-voltage battery, adaptive suspension, and a revised chassis with sportier exterior and interior touches. The launch includes new pricing and specifications across Germany, the Netherlands, and the UK.
In Germany, Tesla’s configurator lists a base price of €61,990, with an additional €980 in destination and regulatory fees, bringing the total to €62,970. Prices are similar in the Netherlands (€62,990) and the UK (£61,990), making the Performance version roughly €9,000 more expensive than the Model Y Long Range Dual Motor. Compared to the previous Performance model, which was priced just under €60,000, the surcharge is €2,000.

The dual-motor Model Y Performance accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds, down from 4.8 seconds in the previous AWD version. Tesla has not published exact power output figures. The WLTP-rated range drops slightly to 580 km (360 miles) compared with 586 km for the Long Range AWD model, still exceeding the previous Performance version by 66 km. The new 5M battery, reportedly using improved LGES cells, provides 82–84 kWh of usable energy and reduced energy consumption of 162 Wh/km (16.2 kWh/100 km).
The updated Model Y Performance sits lower than regular trims and features a sportier body, 21-inch Arachnid 2.0 wheels, reshaped lower air intakes and side openings, and a more prominent rear spoiler. Tesla has added adaptive suspension with “Unique Drive Modes,” widening the gap between driving dynamics and comfort compared with previous Performance models.
