Tesla has expanded its “Everyday Heroes” program to include healthcare workers across the United States and Canada, offering them exclusive discounts toward the purchase of new vehicles.
Under the new incentive, healthcare professionals in the U.S. are eligible for $500 off, while those in Canada can receive $1,000 CAD off any new Tesla model, including the Model 3, Model Y, Model S, Model X, and Cybertruck.

The announcement was made through the company’s official Tesla North America account on X (formerly Twitter), stating that “Healthcare workers in both the US & Canada are now eligible for $500 / $1000 CAD off S3XY + @cybertruck via the Everyday Heroes program.” The expansion marks another step in Tesla’s effort to recognize individuals who contribute to their communities.
Originally launched as the “American Heroes” program, the initiative was designed to honor military members, first responders, teachers, and students. The program provides discounts to verified buyers through ID.me, a third-party service used to confirm eligibility. According to Tesla’s website, the offer is available to verified military veterans, retirees, active-duty members, their spouses, surviving spouses, first responders, medical providers, nurses, students, and teachers.

The inclusion of healthcare workers follows the recent expiration of the $7,500 federal EV tax credit in the United States, which affected the affordability of electric vehicles for many buyers.
