Tesla’s upcoming Spring update is expected to bring significant enhancements to its vehicle lineup, including new visual updates for Model 3 and Model Y units equipped with AMD chips, as well as Auto Shift Beta improvements for Model S and Model X units from the 2021 model year onwards. Additionally, the update will introduce Hands-Free Trunk features.
Notably, the Cybertruck will receive several new features, including Powersharing from Vehicle to Home. This capability will allow the all-electric pickup truck to power homes using a Universal Home Connector and Powershare Gateway during grid outages. Other features expected in the update include Cabin Overheat Protection, new horn and lock sounds, and a colorizer.

One of the most significant improvements for the Cybertruck will be a reduction in its turning circle by 1.6 feet. This enhancement, highlighted by Tesla on social media platform X, will make parking and low-speed maneuvers easier for drivers. A video shared by Tesla Cybertruck Lead Engineer Wes Morrill demonstrates the improved turning circle, showcasing the vehicle’s impressive maneuverability.
The video suggests that the Cybertruck’s turning circle will allow it to perform turns almost as tight as Rivian’s “Tank Turn” demonstration from 2019. Tank Turn was a highly anticipated feature for the Rivian R1T and R1S, but its release has been delayed by the electric truck maker.
While the Cybertruck is considered one of Tesla’s most advanced vehicles, the company continues to refine it. Recent reports indicate that Cybertruck deliveries have been temporarily paused to address an issue with the vehicle’s accelerator pedal. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) is reportedly in contact with Tesla to gather additional information about the matter.
