The upcoming Tesla Cybertruck is generating quite a buzz, and the latest rumor surrounding this highly anticipated electric vehicle involves its audio system. According to recent findings, the Cybertruck might boast a unique audio setup that has yet to be seen in any other Tesla model.
Tesla enthusiast Matthew Donegan-Ryan delved into the low-voltage schematics from the March 1 Investor Day presentation and made an interesting discovery. He noticed the presence of two triangular boxes depicted beneath the rear seats, suggesting the potential inclusion of subwoofers in this unconventional location. This arrangement would make sense considering the limited cargo space in the back of the Cybertruck. While most SUVs and sedans typically house their subwoofers in the trunk, the compact design of the Cybertruck necessitates alternative placement.

Although Tesla has not officially confirmed these reports, Donegan-Ryan believes that the Cybertruck will indeed feature two eight-inch ported subwoofers along with the rest of the speaker system. It is reasonable to assume that the Cybertruck would also incorporate a comparable 14-speaker setup found in other Tesla models, but specific details have yet to emerge.
Back in December, Tesla CEO Elon Musk promised that the Cybertruck would possess an epic sound system. While we await further information, the prospect of dual subwoofers in the Cybertruck has sparked excitement among enthusiasts and audio aficionados alike. The accuracy of this rumor remains to be seen, but many are eagerly anticipating the opportunity to put the audio system to the test once the Cybertruck hits the road.
