Tesla has announced the official launch of the Cybertruck in Canada, marking the all-electric pickup’s availability in its third North American country. Deliveries for the Cybertruck initially began in the United States last November, with the vehicle making its debut in Mexico just last month.
During the launch in Mexico, Siddhant Awasthi, the Vehicle Program Manager, confirmed on X that the Cybertruck would arrive in Canada by late October. Tesla has now met this timeline, officially offering the Cybertruck for sale in Canada.

The pricing for the Cybertruck in Canada has been set at CAD 168,740, which translates to approximately USD 122,282. The model available is the Cyberbeast Foundation Series, the first trim level of the vehicle to be introduced across any market, including Canada. This version of the Cybertruck includes notable features such as Full Self-Driving Capability and a Light Bar.
Currently, the Cybertruck is available in three North American markets, with ongoing speculation about its potential expansion to other international markets. CEO Elon Musk has previously hinted at the possibility of creating an “international version” of the Cybertruck, designed to better suit European and Asian markets.
However, concerns have arisen regarding the vehicle’s weight and size, particularly in Europe. Advocacy groups, including the European Transport Safety Council and the European Cyclists’ Foundation, have raised alarms about the Cybertruck’s design, citing its sharp edges and heft as potential hazards for pedestrians.
While Tesla has not confirmed plans to develop a smaller or modified version of the Cybertruck for other markets, Musk has expressed interest in exploring this option. Despite these challenges, some European buyers have already begun acquiring units and arranging shipments across the Atlantic.
