Recently, a photo of the Tesla Cybertruck beta prototype made its rounds on the internet and it showcases the unique triangular side mirrors that have generated much discussion. However, a recent spotting of another Cybertruck unit has raised even more questions with its new features.
The new photo features a massive wiper, larger than any other passenger car on the market, and even rivals those on buses. This addition is an unexpected change from the original design, but it makes more sense compared to the smaller wipers seen before.

Another aspect that stands out is the ground clearance of the truck. Despite appearing to be raised, with a gap between the tire and the fender of at least 6 to 7 inches, the truck still sits low to the ground. It is unclear if this is due to smaller diameter tires, but it remains a curious observation.
In the front of the vehicle, the grille in the bumper has been greatly enlarged, deviating from the original design. This alteration is believed to be a solution to battery cooling issues and the need for increased air flow.
As the mass production start date for the Cybertruck approaches, it seems that Tesla is making changes to the original design. The large wiper was not part of Elon Musk’s original plan, but it will likely be a source of humor for the public.
It is expected that there will be more changes before the Cybertruck goes into production, as the original design has faced numerous challenges in terms of safety regulations and traffic laws. Despite these obstacles, it is a testament to Tesla’s determination to deliver the vehicle that their customers desire.
Only time will tell if the effort and delays were worth it for the Cybertruck. It could become the biggest flop in automotive history or the biggest success story. The answer to that question may be known by this time next year.
