Tesla has delivered a total of 10,000 of their electric vehicles to Israel. The 10,000th delivery will occur on November 15, 2022.
The first deliveries of Tesla’s electric vehicles in Israel started in early 2021. At that time, the first shipment of Model 3s from Fremont arrived at the Port of Ashdod in February.
Since then, Tesla has been delivering regular Model 3s from Fremont and then Giga Shanghai arriving in the country in the following months.
The Model Y was later delivered to Israel with the first deliveries taking place in early 2022.
The delivery of Tesla’s 10,000th electric vehicle occurred on November 15, 2022 and was celebrated with six helium balloons and a two-layer cake for the lucky new owner, according to a photo shared by @ConnectingODots on Twitter.

With the 10,000th delivery, there are two records broken. The first record is Tesla becoming the first automaker to sell 10,000 electric vehicles in Israel.
The second record is that Israel is now the fastest country to reach 10,000 Tesla deliveries in less than two years.
The record is even faster than the US. This is understandable because the delivery to the US was first carried out when the electric vehicle industry was just growing.
Tesla only sold about 2,450 Roadsters from 2008 to 2012. Significant sales volume only started later with the launch of the Model S in 2013.
The number of Teslas in Israel will increase by several thousand more before the end of the year. Two deliveries from China will arrive with around 2,500 cars each, all of which must be delivered to new owners before the year is out.
