Tesla has introduced a new Light Gray Premium interior option for the Model Y L in China, adding more customization choices for buyers of its long-wheelbase variant.
The new interior is available for an additional 8,000 yuan ($1,120), according to Tesla China. Previously, the Model Y L was offered only with a Dark Premium interior.

The Model Y L, produced at Tesla’s Giga Shanghai facility, features extended dimensions compared with the standard Model Y. It measures 4,976 mm in length, 1,920 mm in width, and 1,668 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,040 mm — around 20 cm longer than the standard version.
The SUV offers 420 liters of trunk space, expanding to 2,539 liters with the second and third rows folded down, along with a 116-liter front trunk.

The dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup delivers a combined output of 340 kW (142 kW front, 198 kW rear), allowing a 0–100 km/h acceleration in 4.5 seconds and a top speed of 201 km/h.
The vehicle uses an 82 kWh LG NMC battery, providing a claimed range of 751 km and an average energy consumption of 12.8 kWh per 100 km. Charging supports up to 400 kW systems with a peak rate of 250 kW.

The Model Y L starts at 339,000 yuan ($47,300) in its base configuration, offering extended range and enhanced cabin space tailored for the Chinese market.
