TELO Trucks has introduced its first pre-production vehicle, the TELO MT1, a compact electric pickup truck designed to enhance urban mobility. The vehicle combines advanced battery technology, innovative safety features, and a space-efficient interior layout.
With over 5,000 pre-orders representing more than $250 million in customer interest, the startup aims to carve out a niche in the competitive electric vehicle market.

The MT1 features a sustainable interior design developed by Yves BĂ©har, incorporating biodegradable cork and a unique “Monster Tunnel” storage system beneath the truck bed.
The vehicleâs powertrain, led by CTO Forrest North, is engineered for efficiency, while CEO Jason Marks oversees its safety and urban utility readiness.

“We designed the future of utility transportation by maximizing every inch to provide comfort without compromising performance or capability,” said BĂ©har. “TELO brings more features, space, and practicality than any other vehicle on the road today.”
TELO Trucks has partnered with Aria Group to refine its engineering and manufacturing process. The company plans further safety testing and homologation, targeting regulatory approval by next winter. “Weâre inviting investors, partners, and customers to join us as we take the next step,” Marks stated. “TELO is proving thatâin a market dominated by legacy brandsâa small startup can deliver on time, on budget, and with real impact.”
