Long before the Tata Tiago EV, Tata Motors had launched the Tata Tigor EV electric car as a new car in India.

Launched as a new car in 2021, the Tata Tigor EV is also Tata Motors’ first electric sedan.

Like its late sibling, the Tata Tigor EV electric car is also priced at a very affordable price. Tata Motors is selling the cheapest Tigor EV starting at 1,249,000 rupees.

The body measures 3,993 mm in length, 1,667 mm in width, 1,532 mm in height and has a 2,450 mm wheelbase.

In addition, in terms of performance, the Tata Tigor EV also gets an electric motor that drives the front wheels with a power of 73.7 hp and 170 Nm of torque.

Tata Motors claims the Tigor EV can accelerate from 0-60 km/h in 5.7 seconds. Interestingly about the battery, Tata Motors provides the Tigor EV with a fairly small capacity battery of 26 kWh.

But the small battery is claimed to be able to provide a distance of 306 kilometers. For charging, the Tata Tigor EV battery can be charged 0-80% in a claim time of 65 minutes via 25kW charging.
