Tata.ev has officially launched the Sierra.ev in India, introducing its latest electric SUV with prices starting at INR1.88 million (approximately US$20,669). The model is available in five variants priced up to INR2.48 million (approximately US$27,269), with customer deliveries scheduled to begin on 15 July 2026.
The Sierra.ev combines long-range capability, advanced driver assistance features and connected technologies as Tata.ev continues to expand its electric vehicle portfolio.
Two Battery Options with Up to 530 km Range
The Sierra.ev is available with two battery configurations.
The entry-level version features a 63 kWh battery powering a rear-wheel-drive system, while the flagship model combines a 75 kWh battery with dual-motor all-wheel drive.
Tata.ev estimates a real-world C75 driving range of between 510 km and 530 km, depending on the configuration. The all-wheel-drive version produces 504 Nm of torque and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.8 seconds.
Both battery options are covered by a lifetime high-voltage battery warranty valid for 15 years from the vehicle’s first registration.
Fast Charging and Bidirectional Power
The Sierra.ev supports high-speed charging capable of adding approximately 263 kilometres of driving range in 15 minutes under suitable charging conditions.
The SUV also features Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) and Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) functionality, allowing the battery to supply electricity to external devices or charge compatible electric vehicles.
Technology-Focused Interior
Inside the cabin, the Sierra.ev features Tata.ev’s Theater Pro layout with three integrated displays, complemented by a Dolby Atmos sound system.
The vehicle also introduces AirConsole gaming, which Tata.ev describes as the first in-car gaming platform of its kind available in India.
DrivePay, the company’s integrated Unified Payments Interface (UPI) platform, enables drivers to make digital payments directly from the vehicle for charging, tolls and other supported services.
Advanced Safety and Connected Features
Every Sierra.ev comes equipped with Level 2+ advanced driver assistance systems incorporating 22 safety and driver support features.
The SUV also includes six selectable terrain modes, approximately 205 mm of ground clearance and Tata.ev’s 5G-enabled iRA.ev connected vehicle platform, which offers more than 70 connected features.
Customers can choose from seven exterior colours, including the newly introduced Rishikesh Rapids, while the exclusive Nainital Nocturne finish is reserved for the range-topping Empowered A variant.
