Taiga Motors on Tuesday announced its next-generation Orca electric watercraft, introducing a new three-seat model, upgraded digital features and vehicle-to-grid charging, with deliveries set to begin in 2026 and global expansion into Europe.

The lineup includes the Orca WX3, a three-passenger crossover model designed for recreational use and tow sports, and the Orca P2, an updated version of the company’s two-seat performance craft. Both models will be equipped with DC fast charging and bidirectional charging, allowing the watercraft to supply power for homes, cabins or dockside equipment.

The Orca WX3, priced from $23,999, features a longer hull for added stability, a reinforced tow system and a redesigned three-seat arrangement intended to improve handling. The Orca P2, starting at $20,999, builds on the previous Orca Performance with a lighter platform and refinements aimed at improved acceleration and control. Taiga said the 2026 lineup incorporates simplified systems, new alloys and aerospace-grade anodization to improve corrosion resistance and reduce maintenance.

Connectivity upgrades will also be standard. A digital display system includes onboard mapping and geofencing to limit speeds or set operating boundaries, while shareable digital keys will allow owners to grant or restrict access. Riders will be able to adjust power and speed settings based on user experience. A Bluetooth-enabled audio system will be offered as an option.

Taiga said the new models will use its latest integrated powertrain, combining a permanent magnet motor with updated control software for more responsive performance. Battery improvements include fused cooling panel technology, which the company said increases thermal efficiency and allows for longer sustained power in warmer conditions. All models will support CCS fast charging, with recharge times under 30 minutes.

Based in Montreal, Taiga manufactures electric powersports vehicles including snowmobiles and personal watercraft. The company said the new Orca lineup will mark its first availability in European markets starting in 2026. Customers will be able to choose from new color options including Miami Blue, Monte Carlo Red and Titanium Pink.
