Swytch has unveiled its latest e-bike conversion kits, the Max+ and Max++, offering improvements based on customer feedback.
These new kits provide extended range capabilities, with the Max+ delivering an assistance range of 30 to 40 miles (~48 to 64 km), while the Max++ supports distances between 45 and 60 miles (~72 to 97 km).
In addition to increased range, the kits feature a waterproof USB-C port for phone charging and integrated front lighting for better visibility during nighttime rides.
Other updates include compatibility with thru-axle bikes, and the sensor, which was previously attached to the pedal, is now integrated into the motor. The 250W hub motor offers 40 Nm of torque and can assist at speeds up to 20 mph (~32 kph), or 15.5 mph (~25 kph) in regions with stricter regulations.
The Swytch conversion kits are available for pre-order, with prices starting at $449/£399/€469, a significant discount from the regular price of $1,119/£999/€1,189.
This pre-order price applies to the Universal kit with the Max+ battery pack, with delivery scheduled for July 2025.
