Stelato, the premium automotive brand jointly established by Huawei and Beijing Automotive Group (BAIC Group), will launch an updated version of its S9 sedan next month, marking the model’s first major refresh since its debut in August 2024.

The company announced the plan on its official Weibo account, releasing two teaser images that confirm the updated S9 will feature a distinctive Stelato logo for the first time. The current S9 sedan and its wagon counterpart, the S9T, both display the Stelato name in English on the front grille instead of a traditional badge.

Recent spy photos circulating on Chinese social media suggest that the updated S9 will continue offering both BEV and EREV options. Stelato operates under Huawei’s Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance (HIMA), alongside Seres Group’s Aito, Chery’s Luxeed, JAC’s Maextro, and SAIC’s Shangjie.
