Spirii, part of Edenred, has entered into a partnership with DHL Express Norway to take over the management and optimisation of the company’s electric vehicle charging network.
The agreement shifts DHL Express Norway’s existing depot charging infrastructure onto Spirii’s Charge Point Management System (CPMS), enabling centralised oversight, real-time monitoring and more flexible control of access and pricing across sites.
As part of the rollout, Spirii will handle end-to-end charging operations, including system supervision, billing processes, and coordination with installation partners. The setup is intended to support round-the-clock logistics operations, where consistent charger availability and system transparency are critical.
The integrated platform allows DHL drivers to access charging free of charge via voucher-based authentication, while approved external users can utilise the same infrastructure at reduced rates using Spirii RFID cards. In addition, drivers can connect to public charging networks through roaming services, accessible via RFID or the Spirii Go app.
Tore Harritshøj said the project reflects growing demand for fully managed charging solutions in commercial transport.
“We are proud to support DHL Express Norway with a comprehensive charging solution designed for electric vehicle logistics. By managing the entire charging operation, we ensure 100% reliable charging around the clock, with scalability to support DHL Express Norway’s continued growth of its electric fleet,” said Tore Harritshøj, CEO and co-founder of Spirii and Head of eMobility at Edenred.
For DHL Express Norway, the transition was aimed at simplifying infrastructure management while maintaining operational continuity across its delivery network.
“Migrating a charging network of our complexity requires trust, transparency, and operational precision. Together with Spirii, we ensured a stable transition with no impact on our day-to-day deliveries, while establishing a robust charging setup that supports both our current operations and future electrification plans,” said Terje Aarbog, Managing Director DHL Express Norway.
