Segway has introduced the E150S eScooter, an upgraded model designed for urban commuting, featuring a more powerful motor and expandable battery capacity. The vehicle, classified as an L1e-B category scooter, is set to launch in Europe in the second half of 2025.

The E150S is equipped with a 2.7 kW nominal (3.6 kW peak) motor, enabling a top speed of 45 kph. It comes with a 74V 27 Ah lithium-ion battery, offering a range of up to 60 km based on the WMTC estimate.

Riders can extend the range to 180 km by adding up to two extra batteries. Segway states that each battery can be fully recharged in under 2.5 hours.

Advanced features include dual-channel ABS, a traction control system, hill holder control, and a reverse mode. The scooter also integrates a smart TFT display with an intelligent riding system and built-in navigation.

However, Segway noted that navigation would be a paid feature available in select regions, arriving via an over-the-air (OTA) update post-launch.

Additional accessories include a Class-D LED headlight, an automatic handlebar lock, and an anti-skid seat. The E150S will be available in four versions, featuring either a glossy chrome or matte black finish. Pricing details and an exact release date have yet to be announced.
