Rivian, the American electric vehicle manufacturer, is currently offering lease rates as low as $559 per month for its popular R1T electric pickup truck. This offer, which includes $7,500 in lease cash, presents a compelling deal for potential buyers, even surpassing lease rates for the Nissan Titan.
The $559 per month lease rate is for a new 2024 Rivian R1T Standard Adventure Package, with a 36-month lease term and 30,000 total miles. The lease requires $7,454 due at signing, resulting in an effective monthly cost of $766. The total vehicle pricing, including features like Dual Motor AWD, 21″ Wheels, LA Silver Paint, Black Mountain interior, and a $1,800 destination fee, amounts to $71,700.
Comparatively, the Nissan Titan, with an MSRP about $24,000 cheaper than the Rivian R1T, offers a lease rate of $659 for 36 months, with $5,949 due at signing. However, the Rivian R1T’s lower monthly lease rate and incentives make it the more attractive deal.
Rivian’s move to offer competitive lease rates comes as other automakers, including Kia, GM, and Ford, have also introduced incentives and price cuts for their electric vehicles. This trend reflects the growing competition in the electric vehicle market and the increasing demand for electric pickups and SUVs.
Rivian has expanded its leasing options to include the R1S electric SUV, which can be leased for as little as $639 per month. The R1S was the seventh best-selling EV in the US last year, highlighting the strong demand for large electric SUVs.
With its impressive features, including up to 410 miles of range, an extendable tailgate, and a 0 to 60 mph acceleration in 3 seconds, the Rivian R1T is positioned to appeal to adventure-seeking consumers looking for a capable and environmentally friendly vehicle.
