Rivian posted stronger production and delivery results in the third quarter of 2025, helping offset concerns after supply chain disruptions slowed output earlier in the year.
The U.S. electric vehicle manufacturer said it built 10,720 battery-electric vehicles (BEVs) at its Normal, Illinois plant in the three months ending Sept. 30, a sharp increase from 5,979 in the prior quarter.

Deliveries rose to 13,201 vehicles, surpassing its expectation of 12,955 and keeping the company’s annual guidance intact.
In August, Rivian attributed weaker second-quarter output to “primarily due to a variety of supply chain complexities partially driven by shifts in trade policy.” Despite those headwinds, the company emphasized it would remain on track with its delivery targets and expected a stronger third quarter.
