The “Spooky Swamp” car costume brings a series of eerie visual and audio effects. Gen 2 vehicles receive four new exterior light and sound combinations—Swamp Gas, Player Piano, Bayou Blast, and Scary Spirit—each featuring a mix of swamp-inspired sounds and dynamic lighting.
Owners can trigger these effects manually or set them to play automatically when motion is detected. Gen 1 vehicles gain interior updates including themed music, sound effects, and an interactive bayou driving mode displayed across the cabin screens.

Beyond the Halloween additions, version 2025.38 delivers practical upgrades. The update introduces Plug & Charge functionality at Electrify America and IONNA fast-charging stations, enabling automatic session starts without the need for an app or card.
It also improves real-time charger availability data, enhances the climate control system, and refines ventilation, charging, and navigation performance.
The latest update highlights Rivian’s dual approach of blending entertainment with convenience, offering seasonal fun while continuing to expand vehicle functionality and charging compatibility.
