In an exciting development, the highly anticipated Rimac Nevera hypercar has begun production in Zagreb, Croatia, with customers worldwide eagerly receiving their new vehicles. Among the lucky recipients is the first customer from the United Kingdom, who received their custom-built Nevera in February of this year. The delivery took place at H.R. Owen, the exclusive Rimac dealer partner in the UK.
The distinguished owner of the Nevera collaborated closely with both H.R. Owen and the design team at Rimac Automobili in Croatia to create a truly unique vehicle. The car, featuring a striking bespoke shade named Nemesis Green, exudes a vibrant and captivating aura. To further enhance its allure, the owner opted for Platinum Vertex wheels and a Level 2 Carbon package, which includes exquisite exposed carbon fiber accents on the front fascia, rear spoiler, and diffuser.
Crafting the multi-layered Nemesis Green custom paintwork was an intricate process undertaken by a dedicated team located on the outskirts of Zagreb. This meticulous endeavor required approximately 1.5 months of continuous work to achieve perfection. The exceptional design of the Nevera reflects the same level of exclusivity as the groundbreaking technology that powers it.
Hendrik Malinowski, Bugatti Rimac Commercial Director, expressed his appreciation for customers choosing to customize their cars through Rimac’s in-house production: “The bespoke element truly adds to the special feel of the Nevera, enhancing its already exceptional nature. Quickly, drivers are realizing not only the depth of performance ability that the Nevera has but also its breadth as a comfortable GT car.”
As the epitome of electric performance and cutting-edge technology, the Nevera was meticulously designed, engineered, and manufactured entirely in-house at Rimac Automobili in Croatia. With only 150 units ever to be produced, this hypercar features a 120kWh, 6,960-cell battery, along with four individual electric motors, generating a staggering total of 1,914 horsepower and 2,360 Nm of torque.
Ken Choo, CEO of H.R. Owen, expressed delight at the response from their esteemed clientele, who are renowned car collectors worldwide: “Our clients have realized the enormous potential of electrification in hypercars, seeing the Nevera as a landmark moment in the history of automotive performance.” He further emphasized how rare and exceptional vehicles like the Nevera often become iconic benchmarks of their era.
The Rimac Nevera has not only captivated customers but has also garnered significant acclaim from the media. It was honored with the Hypercar of the Year award by GQ and received accolades such as Best Electric Performance Car at the TopGear.com Electric Awards 2022 and Best Hypercar in the renowned Robb Report Best of the Best awards for 2022. Top Gear presenter Chris Harris also hailed the Nevera as his favorite car of 2023 in the TopGear.com Electric Awards.
Additionally, the Nevera holds an impressive array of world records, solidifying its status as the ultimate hypercar. In a remarkable feat, it achieved 23 acceleration and braking records in a single day in 2023, including the 0-60mph, 0-100mph, and the prestigious 0-400kph (249mph)-0 test. Furthermore, it set the highest top speed ever recorded for a road-going electric car in 2022, reaching an astonishing 256mph (412kph).
