San Diego-based electric bike retailer, Ride1Up, celebrated for offering exceptional value in commuter e-bikes, has broadened its product range over the past year. Expanding into new categories such as electric mopeds and adventure e-bikes, the company has continued to innovate while solidifying its presence in the road market. The latest addition to its lineup is the upgraded Ride1Up LMT’D V2, a refreshed version of its popular commuter-focused model.

The Ride1Up LMT’D V2 retains the core features that made its predecessor a hit among riders but introduces several key upgrades. One of the most significant enhancements is the inclusion of a new torque sensor, aimed at delivering a more comfortable and responsive pedaling experience.

While the bike still features a throttle, favored by many e-bike riders in the US for conquering hills or cruising effortlessly, the addition of a torque sensor ensures that pedaling feels natural and efficient.

A handlebar-mounted color display allows riders to easily navigate through different pedal assist power levels and monitor essential riding metrics such as distance, speed, and battery level. The bike is powered by a 48V 14Ah Reention battery with Samsung battery cells, offering a range of 30-50 miles (50-80 km) depending on the mode of assist.

Classified as a Class 3 e-bike, the Ride1Up LMT’D V2 can reach speeds of up to 28 mph (45 km/h) with pedal assist, while the throttle provides speeds of up to 20 mph (32 km/h). The 750W continuous-rated rear hub motor ensures ample power delivery for both high-speed and hill-climbing rides.

Equipped with dual-piston Tektro hydraulic disc brakes with 180mm rotors, the LMT’D V2 offers reliable stopping power and a nearly maintenance-free braking system. The bike also features WTB GROOV-E 27.5″x2.4″ tires designed for electric bikes, offering a smooth ride and enhanced durability.

Additional features include LED lighting, a Shimano 8-speed transmission for those who prefer pedaling, and rack mounts for added cargo-carrying capacity. The Ride1Up LMT’D V2 is available in both step-over and step-through models, each offered in three color options: Brushed Copper, Charcoal Satin, and Snowstorm.

Priced at US $1,595, the Ride1Up LMT’D V2 is now available on the company’s website, with deliveries expected to commence next week. Riders can expect a blend of performance, comfort, and value in this latest offering from Ride1Up.
